It. Is. HERE.

"Primary lithium batteries - forbidden for transport aboard passenger aircraft"

PING! = the sound of me exploding with excitement.

Yes! Yes! Shall we?!

Why hello, you gorgeous thing you.

I can't believe I have to wait two friggin' weeks before my pump start appointment. ARGH.

  1. I can't believe you have to wait two weeks too! It's like torture with new stuff. Glad you got your new pump, and I hope it's great for you.

  2. So you decided to jump-ship too? Tell me, what made you leave Medtronic? Sometimes I feel like I'm stubbornly sticking with my AAA-powered relic while everyone else seems to know something I don't know.

    1. There's gonna be a post about this very thing, Scott! Suffice it to say it's all about what I hope to see coming down the road...

    2. Scott, I'm right there with you...I keep sticking with Medtronic but wonder if I should be making the leap sometime soon (I have quite the inventory of supplies though so it makes it even harder to switch)

  3. How exciting!!!! Very cool, though I agree it's like torture having to wait while you ALREADY HAVE THE FUN NEW DEVICE there!! Ug. I'm in the same boat, leaving MedT just recently and getting a new G4. I am also doing a trial-run on the t:slim and got that yesterday, but have to wait a day or so before my training. So tempting to start... looking forward to hearing what you think of the Ping!

    1. I saw that you got the new G4! I love it and hope you do, too. Can't wait to hear what you think of the t:slim! I was interested, but as I've still got 12 weeks of being preggo to go, my CDE thought a more known quantity was the way to go. (Largely because the switch from Minimed to Ping would be less of a learning curve than anything else....)
